The word NFT often bears the connotations of scams, fads, and money laundry schemes as it embeds financial, technological, and social implications. How can design engage people to look at the intangible world of NFT differently and critically?
We’re All Gonna Make It (WAGMI) To The Moon is a collection of board
games that navigate directly into the confusing but fascinating
world of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) art. Owing to the explosion of the
NFT market in 2021, user-generated art, often artless and even
kitsch, has sometimes skyrocketed to be as valuable as the artworks
in galleries and museums. The games let the players see the appeal
and issues of the NFT technology, experience what it means to be an
NFT artist/investor, and wrap our heads around “WTF is NFT art?”
